Born in Chicago but raised in Los Angeles, Bruce Grossman traveled in Europe after graduating from UCLA in 1969. He worked as a teacher and photographer in San Francisco until moving to Taos in 1976, where he continues to live and work as a psychotherapist. We Go On Living, his book of poetry about the death of his father, was published in 2007. The Captive, a novel about Sandy Koufax, awaits publication. He is married to pastel artist Cindy Grossman and has two sons, both born in Taos.
