F.R. Bob Romero is a ninth-generation New Mexican and a native born Taoseño. He served as president of the Taos County Historical Society from 2002-2009. He taught history courses at Mesa State College in Colorado, and also taught at four colleges and universities in New Mexico, including the University of New Mexico-Taos. F.R. Bob Romero is co-author of A Brief History of Taos, a contributing author of Taos: A Topical History, and author of History of Taos.
